She closed her eyes and memories flooded in,

Recalling her father’s stories of giants and jinns.

The time when she could feel herself,

The time when she was a jolly little elf.

Musing, when the doors of her heart were slammed?

Why were the emotions hidden and feelings jammed?

The trust is crumbled,

The feelings are jumbled,

The haemorrhaging heart patiently waiting to cease the battles,

And impetuously desiring to make someone understand all her baffles.

The wounded mind spellbinds and fences the bounds of emotions,

The fear lingering yet yearning for some Almighty’s creation,

To lovingly open the window of the brimming heart,

To embrace her and never ever part.
